Customer letters and packages (domestic & international) can be mailed at this location

These can be sent Certified Mail, Registered Mail, Insured Mail.  International mail can be sent as Letter Mail, Int'l Priority Mail and Express Mail.

EXPRESS MAIL  (Domestic & International)

This is the Overnight Mail service of the United States Postal Service.  The service delivers in one day or two days depending upon the destination zip code.  Delivery to P.O. Box addresses may not be made on Sundays for those post offices where Sunday access is not available to Mail Boxes.  The domestic express service service is guaranteed and tracked.  International express mail is also available but does not have money-back guaranteed delivery.

CERTIFIED MAIL  (Domestic Only)

When an item to be mailed is important enough to make certain that it is received by the recipient, it is sent by certified mail.  It is delivered to the recipient by the postal carrier after obtaining his signatures.  The signature is maintained at the Post Office.

When the sender desires a proof of delivery of certified mail and needs the signatures of the recipient, it can be done by attaching a Return Receipt form to the Certified Mail by paying extra charges.  The Return Receipt card is sent back to the sender with the recipient signatures for his records.

REGISTERED MAIL (Domestic & International)

When the mailed article is of high value (watch, jewelry, etc.) or is otherwise a very important document like bonds and certificates which will be difficult to replace if lost, these must be sent by Registered Mail which provides the highest possible security against loss and pilferage.  The article may be insured also (watch, jewelry, etc.) or may be sent un-insured in case of documents.

INSURED MAIL  (Domestic & Some International Destinations)

Articles of value may be sent Insured Mail by paying insurance fees in addition to mailing charges.  The article will be delivered to the addressee upon signatures.  If lost, the sender can make a claim for cost of the article.  The Postal Service may ask for proof of value and therefore it does not make sense to over-insure any article.

International Mail is handed over the destination country Postal Service and therefore there is a split responsibility in regard to handling of articles.  For this reason Insured Mail is not available to all countries specially those where Postal Service is un-reliable and general honesty level is low.

CUSTOMS DOCUMENTATION

All articles for international destinations must include Customs Documentation which will itemize the contents and their value for custom duty.
