SHIPPING

 

 

 

All Shipments are Tracked and are automatically covered by $100.00 insurance.  Additional insurance can be purchased.

A variety of Shipping Services are available depending upon the speed of delivery.  As a general rule, the faster the shipment goes, more it will cost.  

The shipments can be sent UPS, FedEX, DHL.

 

A.  GROUND SERVICE

     2-5 business days depending upon the distance to all contiguous states.

 

 

 

 

B.  OVERNIGHT DELIVERY

        Early AM Delivery:  Delivery by 8.00 am to select zip codes.

         Express/Priority Delivery :  Delivery by 10.30 am

            Standard/Saver Delivery:  Delivery by 3.30 pm / End of Day

         

        Saturday Delivery is available at extra cost. 

        Saturday pickup is available at extra cost.

 

 

 

 

C.  TWO DAY DELIVERY

         Delivery by end of second day.  

          

           Saturday delivery is available at extra cost.

           Sataurday pickup is available at extra cost.

 

 

 

C   THREE  DAY DELIVERY

          Delivery by the end of 3rd. Day.

         

          Saturday Delivery is not available.

          Saturday pick up is not availabe.  

 

 

DECLARED VALUE 

Shipments with Declared value of over $100 must be paid for at $1.00 per hundred dollars of actual value of the shipment.  Over-insurance does not guarantee payment of claim.  In case of Loss or Damage, the Carrier has the right to demand the proof of value.  Do not Over - Insure.

For residential addresses, signature option must also be purchased to guarantee full coverage in case of mis-delivery or loss.

For damage claims on electronic items, special considerations apply. The carrier need to be satisfied that the item was not in damaged condition prior to shipping.   If the container/box has no visible sign of damage, the claim of damage or non-operation may be declined. 

 

C.O.D  SERVICE

  Packages can be shipped C.O.D where a certain amount as determined by the sender will be collected from the recipient at the time of delivery.  C.O.D fee and the Shipping Charges must be paid at the time of shipment.  The C.O.D amount can be requested as personal check or certified check.

C.O.D is not the same thing as declared value (insurance).  In case of loss or damage, UPS responsibility will be limited to the amount of declared value  paid for and up to the proven value of the shipment loss.  For complete protection, adequate insurance must be purchased in addition to C.O.D.

PACKING

In case or damage, the Carrier has the right to inspect the package condition to determine if the damage was caused because of improper packing.  Claims are often refused because, in the opinion of the Carrier, adequate cushioning material was not used to protect the contents.  There is no substitute for good packing.  Special attention must be paid to pack 

  • Computers, Printers, Monitors and other Electronic audio/video equipment.
  • China, Dishes, Crystal, Porcelain figurine etc.
  • Framed pictures, Paintings, Sculptures and other work of Art.

A rule of thumb would be to have at least 2 inches of cushion all around the items to be protected.
